Hi all entusiasts!
I have a 1992 C4 with a couple of fault on that i guess is connected.
The car have been standing still for a couple of years due initialy due to fault in the security system in the BCM.
Now that have been fixed but now other faults occures (i dont think that they are connected to the inital fault).

Anyway now the car is running properly up to 3200rpm where the ignition cuts out (does not matter if you are running or just reving in N), and the ASR lamp is on and the speedometer does not work.

Tried to read out faultcodes according to the instruction in this forum and got the following:
1.
C12
C41
H41
4.
ERR
7.
ERR
9.
H72

I have the Corvett original workshop manual but cannot make any sense about this fault codes.
Could it be so easy as a ABS sensor failure or do you have any good ideas or tips for me how to proceed?

Have decades of experience with cars but have never worked with corvetts before so i would really appreciate your help and support here.
Thanks!

Hi Thomas, welcome.

1. The C12 indicates no CURRENT codes and is what you usually want to see.

C41 may be your problem (Loss of ECM Serial Data). If the ECM isn't getting signals, the engine won't run right. It could be bad grounds (should be cleaned up), the harness connection to the ECM (rear of the engine compartment driver's side0 or a bad ECM.
You should look for the diagnosis flow chart in your manual.

H41 - LCD dimming circuit, ignore it all it does is dim the dash lights when it gets dark out. I'm been getting that code once in a while for 7 years in my 92.

BTW, H is a history code and not happening during the current code pull, C is current and IS happening during the current code pull.

4. ERR , yea error in the ECM circuit, probably an electrical connection or bad ECM, this is as important as the C42.

I don't have my list in front of me but I don't think the ERR in 7 and the H72 are part of your engine problem.

I'll try and look them up when I get a chance.
