Morning Gris... we had our first snow of the season last night... 3 to 4 inches but enough that I got out the JD with the snow blower and cleaned off the driveway... snow is over but 30 to 40 mph winds predicted for the rest of the day...
the whole gang is here and as usual it is barely controlled chaos.... food food food.... it is no time to go on a diet... eat much Guru's.... you have to have extra calories to fight the cold..... |

2014 Memorial Day Car Show Winner!

Hey guys, up and round early, as we attended the 1st annual Turkey Trot, a 5k that helped the Senior Center. The wind was blowing about 30mph and the temps were in the low 30s, so it was very cold. Rosie, #2, 2GSs (Leo & Ben) and Leo's GF. I documented the run. The organizer is a member of a family that I'm pretty close to. Had their kids in school and several of the grands, many of which have chosen careers in the construction industry.
Got home and compiled my photos, from 3 cameras, and then took them down to the Senior Center where this entire family was gathering for their Tgiving get together. About 80 were there. I was welcomed and convinced to grab a plate and eat with them. Nice to catch up with many of my former students. Headed to church pretty soon. Supposed to be real cold tonight and tomorrow. Stay warm Gurus. |
