good afternooon yall. I didnt hear about the Vette accident, nobody from my group posted about one. We did have a dinner cruise Saturday, I didn't go as I had a hike trip already planned. Anybody have a link? Ours would be from Jonesboro, AR, and they went to West Memhpis to eat, so we have Interstate 55 up to the dinner spot from here.
Friday I got some things done around here, we got up Saturday to drive to a hike, needed to go the night before but didn't get around to it after supper. Nearly a 4 hour drive so we got started way later than I wanted which means I didn't have time like I prefer to go at my pace. We ended up getting screwed up somewhere and took a trail I didn't intend to take, he misunderstood me and I was letting him lead. I saw the sun falling and I still had quite a ways to go, and the terrain was steep, with roots and rocks and sometimes the rocks WERE the trail so I was slower than normal. Plus I didn't eat properly before and ate way too early, no snacks as I didn't intend to be gone that far, I hydrated but forgot my electrolyte pack in the truck. 2/3 the way I was in a solid boogie to get out of there, still came out an hour after dark. Woke up 2am with muscle crap and was afraid to try to sleep after that so all day yesterday I was a zombie but in and out of flea markets. I got a short nap on the way home then was up again till 12. I'm shot today, none of what I planned is gonna happen, I'm too tired and sore.
