Nobody's posting much today, and I'm honestly about to go outta my skull from boredom, so this will occupy my brain for a few minutes...

I rarely dream about cars. I wish I did more of it, but I'm not good at controlling those things.

BUT on Saturday night, after hanging out with 81c3, I had TWO dreams with Corvettes in them.

Just little short ones, really... I dreamed my bestest buddy from grade school surprised me by buying me a Vette. The first time I saw it, I remember walking around the corner of a concrete block garage, then peering in the window of a white painted wooden garage door. There was what looked like a yellow vert. My guess would have been a '94 or '95. But I only saw it for a second. Then things got fuzzy, and that portion of the dream started over.

The second time I came around the corner, it was a chrome bumper C3 that looked like it might have been blue at one time, but had lots of yellow body filler, or bare fiberglass showing. It looked like hell, but I remember being in tears with gratitude for my friend giving me such a gift... I can't make any sense of this dream. But it was cool.

THEN I had a really weird one!

A friend of mine that I hang out with every week called me and told me he had something to show me. I went over to his place and he had a white C6 vert. And (get this) he had purchased the car with money from the sale of a bowling ball that had been owned by my grandmother. And the reason the bowling ball was so valuable was because of the bumper stickers that my grandmother had put on the bowling ball. WTF?

My grandmother died in '86. Did not own a bowling ball, to my knowledge.

But I think I managed to decode this dream...

81c3 was telling me that he and his wife rented a white C6 vert for a recent trip. So that's where the car came from. And I remember looking at the inner hood tag on his ZR1 that said "Made in Bowling Green" or something llike that. So, maybe that's where the "Bowling" thing came from....

I haven't figured out the bumper sticker thing yet.

The second one kinda freaked me out. And I was rather disappointed this morning when there was no trashed-out chrome bumper C3 in my garage.

Any of you had any crazy Corvette dreams?

When I first got the car, I dreamed my parents bought me nitrous for it! =)
