Guru Winter Park, Fl 51 Posts Member since: 2008/4/26 13:51	I just got a newopti fom thepartsladi, it came in a Delphi box. But, it was repacked with newspapers. My question is, how do you tell it is a Delphi opti? It has no markings on it, except white smudges(4) that might have been a name or something.

Both Delphi and both in open and repackage boxes. Both boxes were labeled Delphi as were the components inside. Since they had stickers on them I knew the were ok. I think that they must open the boxes first to make sure the part is there and not damaged before shipping. I don't know why else they would open the boxes first. I would say that you got the correct part.

When it arrived box said India, Taiwan, and China. They refused a full refund. I would never buy from them again. There is absolutely no reason to open and repack new components, so you know what I think they are doing. Was the newspaper in English or Chinese?

I don't know about what you got from them, but I have ordered a water pump, now the radiator and condenser and should be getting a reciever/dryer today. All of the above were as promised. So I can't say nothing but good about them. Fast shipping and good on the phone to me when I called with a couple questions. I know there are chitty people on eBay, but I don't think these are one of them. Respectfully - me.

I recall the incident you are talking about, and I consider it to be a misunderstanding. My opinion. I have ordered several items from them and they came super fast and at a great price. I would not hesitate to buy anything from them or to question the authenticity of it. Matthew

Elite Guru Not on CF 1297 Posts Member since: 2007/12/29 0:00	I have bought several things from the PL. All of my stuff has come in the original boxes. I will say in shipping of water pump or opti, the water pump box is freaking huge. I would normally downsize it as well, and the box also isn't the sturdiest from GM. On the opti, the box it comes in is larger as well. If you don't repackage it, it can get jarred around and possibly damaged.
