I think it would be cool to have a gathering of the Gurus in a centrally located city for some cool Corvette event. I'm not sure what is a really cool Corvette event that is 'tween coasts, but I'm sure there has to be something that all of us would like to get to, and we could get to see our cars and meet one another.

I'd be up for helping with the plans if there is any interest. I figured it would need to be in the spring to provide enough time and planning.

Any thoughts.... Andy et al.?

I'd be up for something like that. With enough notice, of course. I get plenty of vacation time at work.

And it may even be unlimited, depending on the outcome of recent events!

Maybe during a Strawberry Queen, pig calling or cow chip tossing competition. That way we'd have something else we could do than just say hello and here's my car.

One event that comes to mind is Sebring... but that's not "mid-west."

Now, next summer there would be Mid-Ohio... a little more eastern, but reasonable.

When is Mid America's Hoopla?
Isn't Effingham half way between coasts?

Effingham is about half way between Colorado and Pennsylvania, I think. I know I usually spend the night there when I drive between the two. Been a long Effing time since I've done that, though.

I have never been to that Effing place.

So there.

But that sounds doable.
