So, I'm done seeing my customers today. So I am taking my GPS (old one) power cable out of the Cig Lighter.

Well the thing comes unscrewed and leaves metal pieces and a glass type fuse sitting in the socket.....arching over every bump.

I try to use a pen to clear it all out and all I did was succeed in blowing the fuse.

I pull over and by chance I haven't had to buy a package of fuses for this car......(Two years?? How'd I get away with that??) Anyway, the "radio" fuse is fine...which fuse was it??

CRTL/CSTl???? some 15 amp fuse on the top row is what it turned out to be.

Ran into the 7-11 and bought that little box for $1.89....

It's just crazy sometimes the luck with this car.

What did the car do wrong? Looks like it saved your bacon from the cheap electronics you hooked up to it.

That must be the courtesy light fuse.

don't let a pencil fall into the lighter socket...

Oh, I'm not complaining really about the car at all....it's you that tells me to sell it 'cause it is a POS.

I defend it....I think it is a pretty solid machine for it's age.

On that note, I read "over there" one guy saying he worries every time he has to drive his car 100 miles away from home.

I drive 100-250 miles three times per week.

I drove down to the SD convention center three times last week alone. and that is 80 miles one way.
