i put a new exhaust system on my vette, not a real expensive system ..notice its kinda loud. Are there some tricks out there to quite it just a bit?

Thanks in advance as always for any help suggestions.

Do a search for "exhaust inserts" or "exhaust baffles".

Some of them can be installed in the exhaust tips.

Not sure what you have now. Couple of guys replaced the resonator with twin dynomax mufflers, or a magnaflow dual in and dual out. They said it made a world of difference.
These were on factory true dual LT1s.

Then you might want to find a good/used/cheap pair of LT1 mufflers to put on it, but that might be too quiet.

hard to say... if the exhaust is too cheapo, it might just not be up to the job.

I found that the L98 is rather subdued anyway, due to the central cat. Even moreso with the pup cats used on 87-91's.

Do you have smog testing in MI? If not, would be looking for an entire LT1 system... go nuts. Dual cats, dual everything.
