Here are a few snapshots of the change I made to my 30 gallon husky pro air compressor. The compressor is a vertical tank, and the bleed valve on the bottom was a real PIA thumb screw type. I picked up a 1/4" street elbow, two 5" sections of pipe, a collar, and a 90* valve. Total cost was around $15. I should have gotten maybe a 4 and 5" section or two 4" sections. Then I could have put the valve inside the "legs" where it would be a little more protected. But still works nicely.

Nice. I hate it when I go to a service staion for air, test the nozzle and water comes out.

Yep, and that blows your pressure readings all to hell too.

The more moisture in the air, the the pressure increase as the tires warm up.

That's why (and the only reason why) we run nitrogen in the racecar tires.

Plus it's a bitch dragging an air compressor and extension cord around the pit area.

Hee, Hee

And the free compressed air t the track is always wet, why don't they get it?

And, ever try to inflate a tire with a 12v? Works if you have about an hour.
