Does anyone know, regarding the Chevy Borg Warner T5, would a bell housing from a '99 Camaro 6 Spd fit the bolt pattern of the T5?

I picked up a cheap T5 from a V6, so obviously the bell housing won't work. Same year, '99, there was no 5 Spd option for the 350...just the 6 Spd.

If the 6 Spd bell housing will bolt up to the T5 then I can get one cheap and solve the compatibility issue.

I'll ask Jon about this when I pick up the C3 tomorrow. He might know.

I will look for a used one, but what year and model do I search for? I tried looking at Camaros but the only V8 I saw the 5 Spd available with was a 5.0 L.

Will a bell housing from a 1992 Camaro 5.0L engine fit the T5 from a '99? I can find those easily.

not sure if the input shaft is the same for the 99 t5. i would imagine it is because i know you could use a older v6 trans on a v8 if you swapped the housing but the trans wasn't as strong. no 350's were 5 speeds in third gens.. just the 305's tpi or tbi and v6's.
