Heads are previously gasket matched and previously milled and combustion chamber is 57 cc. Current builder did a bit of bowl clean up port work, and a competition valve job with a radius. They are supposed to flow very well, now.

I also got my stock parts back from the builder so let me know about those rods.

Very nice Matt! Edelbrock came out with heads for the LT1 a couple years ago too! I was wondering how well they flow out of the box.

According to my builder not too well. He said edelbrock has a lot of quality control and consistency issues and they come out with a lot of casting flaws (look at my hi-flo intake) and that the numbers they quote are for heads on one of their good days. With the valve job and port work mine will flow well.

Edelbrock makes a good, cheap head. My heads flowed horrible out of the box. They claimed like 240 cfm in their published literature, but mine were 215-217 out of the box.
It took 8 hours of careful porting to get them up to 247-249 or so cfm.

Matt,
I will shoot you a pm on the rods.
