Well, I have a 2002 Corolla S and 99 VW Rabbit Wolfsburg.
As my wife and kids are back on the mainland till I retire I need only one other vehicle besides the Vette, of course.
The rabbit has more power, is a little more comfortable and has fold down seats to put lots of stuff in it.
It has a fairly robust feel to it, yet it was driven by my oldest for a few months. I replaced all those parts. But it has new tires, brakes , cv joints and front bearings.
The toyota has 100000 miles, and was driven by my wife and myself. The oil was regularly changed with synthetic and WIX filters. Not much space to load with and needs shocks. It is an S, so it is, well an S model.
The COrolla out here is worth, for resale, about 5500 according to KBB, the VW not so much.
So, what would you keep.

Corolla.

You can get more for it, and since the VW is current on maintenance, keep it.

Which do you feel more comfortable driving? Do you feel one is more reliable than the other?

Thats what I am thinking. Not that I would have to drive far in Hawaii anyways. The VW isnt too bad of a car. The Toyota is good as well, but feels cheaper.

I wish, I cant even afford to pay attention. I just sold my house though, here in Hawaii. Real estate agents made anough to pay for a serious down payment on a GS, bitch!@
