Great price. It's nice that you can do it and that "Streets" lets you.

It's a weekday event so they are a bit cheaper to run.

I got back from Willow Springs a little while back.

Had to eat something first!

Extreem Speed does a very professional job! Excellent safety protocals (helmets, limited passing zones), a lot of track time and instructors who will ride with you!

Thanks, Joel, for a great afternoon!

I did get there late, but was able to get about 5 laps in on the track. My 92 did just fine, but I will say, your brakes had better be up to snuff and be prepared to take a few miles off the ole tires!

It was really cool to blast down the front straight at some 85mph and slam on the brakes for a hard left at 30mph!! It took about 3 laps, and the brakes started to stink up the joint... but they never faded! I have Hawk HPS pads with the old Valvoline Synpower fluid. I need to flush again, but the pedal always stayed up.

I ran with the ASR on, but never engaged it. So I guess I wasn't pushing hard enough! Then again, it is my daily driver.

Most of the cars were Honda S2000s. There were a few Nissan Z cars and a Porsche 911 or 2, plus a couple of Vettes.

I will post a few pics tomorrow.

Again, GREAT TIME!!!!

They are still preparing their scheduled for next season... stay tuned!! If you are in the area, this is one great activity!!!

Glad you had fun,Andy.

It's not a bad idea to rebed in the pads before you hit the track, even on the way to the track, with a long straight to let them cool. Street braking is usually abrasive braking on the rotors and you need a good adherent layer on the rotors at the track.

It's supprising that the ABS didn't kick in eapecially at sandy ol' Willows.

ABS never kicked in... but it was late in the day with a good layer of rubber down.
