I found a new Corsa Catback for my 90 for 760.00 and free shipping. I can't find anything to beat it and I wondered if the Guru knew of a better deal.

That is going to be your best bet short of a used system. I have not seen a price that low since their introduction just over 11 years ago.

The 85-91 version is cheaper, cause of the exhaust layout.

But that does sound like a very good deal. Check Ecklers and such for comparison.

That's an insane price. Double check the website....some will have old prices listed on the website, and when you buy it they will send you an email saying "sorry, that's the old price, the new one is xxx.xx more"

Ya Brad do you think that will work on an L98? Maybe the catback is the same? Got any pics? How used is it? I have a 90 and don't know what the diff would be there. I am interested if we can get the thing to work.

Maybe Andy would know he's a Corsa guy.

Well it looks like Matt was right. I went to their website Performancemarket.com and looked up Corsa Exhaust systems and there is just what I want for $761.49 plus free shipping.

So I call the toll free 24 hour number and I talk to Ben who has an accent and ask him if they have the Corsa Exaust in stock for my 90 vette. He wants the VIN# of my car! So he can make sure it's the right part. I tell him that I'm not giving him my damn VIN# and I know it's the right part. That's a red flag to me maybe that is a common practice. Grudgingly he says ok and comes back on saying they have 2 systems in stock. I say, what is the price of that system. He says 978.00 bucks.

I say, how the hell can that be when it's listed on your web site and 761.49? He says, whose web site are you on? I say, how can you not know what web site I am on when I am calling you on the toll free number that is on the site?

By now I know it's a scam and I'm pissed and am ready to rip him a new one. I ask him who am I calling? He says this is U.S. Auto Parts. I ask him who is performancemarketing.com?

He says they are like an Ebay type business who gets all their parts from us. I say then you will honor your advertised price and he says the best he can do is 900 dollars and free shipping and now there is only 1 left.

I say I will not buy anything from you or yours and hang up. I did email performancemarketing and asked them how much that part is just to see what they say. So if the cost is to good to believe it's because it does not exist. Anyway that is what I found out.

Andy what about the ZR1 Corsa set up for my L98 that Jonzr1 is asking about. Can we make that work?

Yes, you can make anything work. The ZR1 setup is much like the LT1, it's a dual system that would require some welding to fit.

It would also require brackets, but those are not that pricy (I am guessing that ZR1 hangers are the same as LT1).

The price Jon is asking is very fair indeed. Just keep in touch with him, so if you ever need to make a warrantee claim, you can.

You would need to get bullet cats, unless you don't mind stinking up the joint without! You would need to make custom setup, or even invest in headers.

To be honest, this upgrade would be worth 25hp on an otherwise stock L98. The exhaust is SO restrictive. It has to help.

If you buy this exhaust, then get headers, high flow cats, and hangers, over a couple of months, you will have all the exhaust you will ever need! A shop will have to do final install.
