how does one get the antenna to work

I have a setoff factory zr1 wheels I need to sell. they are in decent shape looking to get 500 plus shipping . if you pm me your cell I can text pics to you .if you live in ca nv or az I could deliver if you split the fuel with me .

well I found the problem the red wire connector on top of the airbox didn't have good connection.it melted part of the weather pac connector . I put a new connector on it and all is well . thankyou to everyone for being patient with a old man who is electricly chall.enged

hope this isn't a stupid ?I am not the smartest guy with electrics. by the blower control module do you mean the one that is on top of the air box. I haven't cked that one . would I ck the red wire for power . sorry for so many ?s I wish a had more money to have someone do it for me but I am just a old fella on ssi and trying to keep my pride and joy .but mybe it might be time to think about selling her and getting true old guy car .....

fuse for the blower motor. is it one of those fusable links??????? I even took the battery out to find it . did find the probem with the cooling fan . a brek in the wire ofone of the fuseable links .or is it invisible hehe

I pulled the battery and found a fusable link that is 20 amp that the wire seems to be pulled out from I will get a replacement and put it in in the am . is there fusable link for the ac blower too .if not where is the fuse blk that is on the bulk head located is it the black rectangular plastic thing that is behind the battery ????

I switched the relays and still the same thing . I have a problem with both the blower motor nd the primary fan for the cooling system . how do I check the fusable links ????? .

also being that this now is my only car makes it doubly tough . I still get tired so quick it makes it tough to work on her .what can cause the primary fan for the cooling system to not work . I replaced it with a new one and still nothing

the resistor is by the battery correct ?//I am not the smartest apple on the tree with electrics.i am doing a little better . it seems what the doctors are doing is helping ,. it hs tken a little time to get used to living on 1200 a month. if I get feeling little better I can maybe pickup a part time job to help supplement things. right now have to try to figure out this air condition and primary fan motor thing . I replaced the fan motor and it still doesn't work . it is 110 here daily aqnd that doesn't make it esay to work on the car .

I don't have the eelectric part of the fsm . that is my problem . if I had that I could trouble shoot it .

it isa 90 . the compressor is cming on but the blower motor doesn't cme on even in the heat area . is therea separate fuse . how do I ck the blower motor to see whats wrong .

we got the ac running about a month ago and it seemed to work fine . now I try to turn it on and it seems like the motor drags down like the compressor is kicking on . the engine cooling fans come on but the blower motor wont come on . I cked for code as the fsm says to and show no trouble codes . I dont have the wiring book to ck the switches to see if they re good can someone guide me to where to look. oh I double cked to see if she had a charge with the gauge that comews with the refill kit and it says 40 on the gauge .

andy if you do that and want to keep your zf tranny .bill b has the adapter plate and all the stuff to do that . he has a ls conversion in his 89 already

I had this problem on my my car and found that I had not put the clips on that hold the pads in there should be 2 spring clips on each pad I only had 1 on each . might not be your problem but thought to share what mine was .

ridgecrest is the town and china lake navel weapons center is on the edge of town . so we have all the modern stuff. we even have a wallmart here . it is a little out of the way but with what I had to spend for a home it worked out great . I don't have a payment so living on my ssi wont be tooo bad . oh do you want me to send you a extra plug for your tranny ????/

yeah but where else can one find 3/4 of an acre 1200 sq ft. that has been totally redone inside.(outside needs lot of work a 2 car garage complete with air compressor. 2 car ports and another garage for storage for 33k. it is actually a lot closer to civilization than lonepine . there are 20k people in ridgecrest and only 2k in lonepine .so actually I moved to civilization .hehe one benefit is there are a lot of vacant roads to do a little testing from time to time and not a traffic jam in site .so there are some benefits .

no I had to sell the white one to pay for my new digs. I hated to sell it as it was my late wifes car.and just got done rebuilding her. the black car which was down for 3 years is the only one I have left. the nice thing is mechanically it is a new zr1. I did cut a few ponys by deciding to use stk 92 mufflers, guess I am getting old and wanted the car to be quiet.oh I now live in ridgecret ca if anyone is never in the neighborhood the address is 4056 sydnor ave . which is on the corner of calvert and sydnor

did you pull out a actual valeo pressure plate . the new ones are made in china and are failing like crazy . ask bill about that tooo......enlightening

no there are defiantly 2 different clutches. I think you might have gotten the zr1 clutch. I would call bill boudreau and share with him what is going n before going any further 602 3196575 he knows everything about this stuff. jmho

andy I have a spare I can mail you . here is a trick to get it out in the future drive the car around for a 1/2 hr it will heat up the case enough that it comes out pretty easy . let me know if you want me to send you one .bill gave me 8 spares.

betty as I call her was tough on us but she finally relented aafter putting a new motor one of bill blueprinted trannys with one of his shifters , new radiator,new rack, all new fx3 shocks, 4 new tires nto5rs on fully polished 90 zr1 rims .now all that is left is to do the interior . the motor came out well she is fully ported making 442rwhp and 397 rwtq.and that was with stk 92 mufflers behind a 21/2 in drgas xpipe and piping . also have finally moved into my new digs . got really lucky here. 3/4 of an acre a 1200 sq foot single wide mobile with a cement foundated addition with high end real wood paneling also have a 2 car garage . the out side needs a lot of work but for 33k it really was a good deal. someone up there was really looking out for me . hope everyone is doing well .have a great weekend

we just put a motor in a 89 firebird . started just fine . ran it for a little while turned it off to ck for leaks . then went to start it and poof nothing . turns over but no spark . wtf what do I ck for . it is a 350 .please help it is a xmas present for a buddys grandson

you can go to you tube and type in Bradley taylors zr1 and a few videos of my black car going down the drag strip will show up . she is in phoenix right now getting one of bill boudreaus special blueprintings of the trans and a short shifter install as well as putting the motor back together . we had a exhaust cam bolt fail and were lucky to have only bent a couple of valves . also deleting the secondaries and awaiting one of coreys special proms . so she will be like new when she is done . for this old retired fella to enjoy .

it is custom fitted to the housing that the shifter fits in when you get his shifter you get the housing that the shifter fits in too that is shimmed perfect ,. that is the reason the price is 230. it really is the best mod to do if you like shifting your trans . shifts are way more positive as well as shorter .

you can install them yourself . I did my first one on my own wasn't bad at all just drop the exhaust remove the c beam to be able to move the trans to one side pull the pin and put the new one in took me about 3 hrs total

if you like shifting your manual trans corvette , you really need to consider one of bill boudreaus short shifters. they aren't just a shift lever like most offerings but a complete unit that is shimmed just perfect for smooth quick shifts . I had the same problem on my 92 and the clutch disc was worn out . but I also had a fidanze flywheel and it was worn to. when you put the zoom in did you change flywheels. or just reuse the dual mass.?again call bill 6023196575. he works late sso don't be afraid to call.

trouble is I m cash poor right now lost my job and am trying to pay cash for a place to live . ssi will kick in in april but till then I am selling pencils . the place I am buying is only 32500. but it is on 3/4 of an acre with a 2 car garage go to. homes.com ridgecrest ca 4056 sydnor . set the scan for low to high . it is a little grey place that was listed for 35k . a fixer upper .t least I wount have to pay rent. as ssi will only be 1300 a month

paul Harvey on my black cr got her running and she just purred got to the front gate and she hit 178 deg and poof she stopped . on a zr1 both pumps run till 178 then the secondary kicks off. so I bought a new pump but don't remember which one of the 2 is the primary .??????

gary guinn , who by the way is a great guy , bought my 92 callaway car and she arrived at his house today . she did tease him a little though with a dead battery (interior light issue ) so he had to charge he before his maiden run .he called back after the run and said she is a beast couldn't keep his foot all the way in her . I am so glad that my late wife loved so found great home . pics are on the ugh corvette forum of her new digs.

I have a spec stage 2 with a ceramic disc. it had 60k hard miles on it when we pulled the motor to replace the short block on my 90 zr1 and it looked so good we just put it back in. something to ponder on ....... oh my 92 went by by finally today sad to see her go .like losing a member of the fanily....
