That's not so far off the mark, there are steering wheels out there that do cost more than your C5.

That particular wheel may have been $10k new.

What kit car is that? We have a local one but it is SLOW. Not running a 4V OHC ford though. He is running something along the lines of a inline 4 that sounds terrible and has no hp

Whoa, Travis.

That ain't no kit can, that's a Crawford Rolax Daytona DP car....think..the 24 Hours of Daytona.

The pic of the motor isn't very good, that engine is a 4 valve DOHC V8.

This is a very fast Mofo. And very, very expensive.

Figure $400k with motor/driveline. The Daytona Prototypes are rather affordable for what they are... but butt ugly! There was no logical reason to not make them look sleeker. They were benchmarked on the 962... and then built around that performance level.

And then came this massive rollcage thing... ugh, and the cars when bad from the get-go.
