I do hafta wonder, who actually paid for those phones, and other than votes, what're they getting in return? There's gotta be a hitch. Like who else is listening to the conversations on those phones? Perfect chance for big brother or other rich white guys in power to listen in on those conversations. If I was the guy handing out those phones, I'd do it.

The best part is Tracfone Wireless that has most of these contracts is a Mexican company.

The program has been around awhile though, so about all you can blame Obama for is helping sink more people below the poverty line to qualify.

The program was originally home phones... Hardline/Landline... but as time progressed I bet some executive at that Mexican owned Trac Phone lobbied some dirt bag Congressman, who then slipped an upgrade on that home phone program as a rider on some legislation... Probably the bill about Congress' pay raise....
