The wife had her surgery today. The doctor said he took out 3 big size pieces of the herniated disk. One was larger than a peanut M&M and the other 2 were about the size of peanut M&M's. He also removed numberous small pieces. The pain going down her leg to her foot is gone. She only has some numbness and tingling which should gradually go away.

Overall, it was a successful operation.

That is great news that her pain is gone, and great that the surgery went well. Take good care of her during the recovery process.

That is good news. My wife had back surgery last year, it's a slow process to recover from. Good luck and here's to a speedy recovery.

Thanks fellas. The new girl showed up to help her out and watch my son today. My 2 year old boy was crazy about her. The wife said the sitter and him played quite a bit. He hung around he all day. Glad the wife likes her. Makes it easier on recovery if you are happy.

Back surgery can be more of a problem than a cure.
Sounds like you got a good doctor. Good luck to you and your family.
