CLOUDY AND MILD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. THE CHEROKEES ARE WISHING THEY DIDN'T EAT ALL THAT CANDY LAST NIGHT. BEING OUT IN THE COUNTRY WE DON'T GET ANY TRICK OF TREATERS; I MISS THEM. IT WAS FUN SEEING AND RESPONDING TO THE LITTLE ONES (AND SOME OF THE BIG ONES TOO)

GOT THE USUAL FIRST OF THE MONTH STUFF TO DO, WIND CLOCKS, CHANGE MAGAZINES, PILL DOGS, CLEAN FILTERS. THE MINUTIA OF LIFE :-)

gray cold and snow on the ground......they are saying 50's but I will have to see it.......

Just work going on here.....and they are putting in a new sewer line in the field across from the house....... we are getting a new water treatment plant and they put this one out in the country and have a long way to pump the sludge........ on to other subjects.........

rained today, rained last night and interrupted our trick or treaters. We didn't have as many as we expected, partly I think due to the cold and the rain. More candy for us. BF enjoyed scaring the kids though. One took a deep breath and was like "ooooooo" and backed way up. He had to go after him and was like "wait, I have candy for you!". Then that didn't sound right lol. poor kid couldn't have been 2-3 years old. I want my summer back. It's cold here, ugly and wet out.
Tee, he's not been able to work on his own 68 vette as he's had stuff for other people. And back then I'm not sure what happened but it just got put away. Then he had to do that one for that dude that was a nightmare, he didn't get paid for a lot of it and the guy was an ass. It started off as a damage repair then the dude wanted a full off frame off resto and we simply didn't have time for it and there was no pleasing the dude no matter what you did. He was one of THOSE. At that point, he simply hated Corvettes and nearly refused to touch one.
Marcus, I have had a good nap or two already on that hammock. I really like it.

Been going since early on today guys. Started off pretty nippy, but was 77 this afternoon. I got half the job at the hospital installed today...we'll do the other half next week as I didn't want to chance not getting it done early enough tomorrow as we are headed to KC for grandparent day Friday at the school 3 of the grands attend.

We had over 300 trick or treaters last night.....all before 7:30. All the candy gone, we shut the lights out and went downstairs. The neighbor gal told me this evening she had over 475 and she ran out of candy too.

Well, I have a knights of Columbus meeting to get to. Later...gators!
