MORE RAIN THIS MORNING, 3/4 INCH IN THE GAUGE. LIGHTS WENT OFF SOMETIME SO I HAD TO RESET ALL THE ELECTRIC STUFF. NO PROBLEM EXCEPT THE COFFEE POT. GETTING THE AUTO-TURNON SET IS A MYSTERY TO ME. I'VE DONE IT SEVERAL TIMES AND STILL NOT SURE HOW I DID IT :-0

TRIP TO OKMULGEE GOT POSTPONED TILL THIS EVENING.

RAIN SCREWED UP MY SCHEDULE, GOT PUP DRAINED BUT NOT FED, CAT MEDICATED AND FED, AND I'M GETTING HUNGRY MYSELF. EAT OUT OR HAM AND PIMIENTO CHEESE SANDWICH, THAT IS THE QUESTION---

What up today Guru's..... 85 degrees and sunny today in the corn nation..... Corn looks good but the price per bushel is only about $2.70/bu..... it takes about a $4.00/bu price to make any money or to break even..... so how do the farms stay in business..... Pres. Trump needs to throw some money there way or there will be another wreck like we had in the mid 80's...... If the government has to support anything it should be our food supply.... just saying...

Onward to the door and beyond....

A friend of ours talked Sue into taking his 3 African Spur Thigh tortoises. One is huge and he already escaped once. He created some openings and now the smallest one is on the run. I'm beefing up the fence today to prevent further escapes for the two that are in there. Lets see if the other one turns up in my yard or my neighbors. We shall see. If not he'll become a wanderer. My back is still on the fritz and I'm doing what I can (or I must) do. Vulcan sux.

Good Evening CGs!

Got the brake job finished up last night. Made a few bucks on it so worthwhile I guess.

Ran a few errands today, got the grass cut, took the dog for a haircut, and got in a workout. Also watched a movie with the kids and helped them with some summer homework. A full day.

Tommy, sorry to hear about the back troubles. You know what Brad would have told you. Good man there, still think about him.

Hope everyone had a great day!

I have the book Brad recommended. Still haven't read it but I found it. Brad is also part of my coaching team for quitting smoking. I have two old timers no longer with us, Brad and my promise to myself that I would quit smoking by the time I was 65. I turned 65 and quit the next day. Yup. I smoked all the way to the last minute. Still fight the urges but Monday it will be a month. One down, two to go. 3 months is sort of a magic number. Maybe I'll give myself a red chip. (Who knows what I'm talking about? )
