THE BOYS HAVE GROWN LIKE WEEDS SINCE WE LAST SAW THEM. THE 20 GA IS A TAD LONG IN THE STOCK FOR #7, BUT AT THE RATE HE IS GROWING IT WILL FIT BEFORE LONG.

DARLING WIFE IS TALKING ABOUT GOING TO COLORADO WITH HER COLLEGE FRIEND NEXT WEEK.

Bad day for Chicago as a CPD officer was murdered last night. A second is in critical condition from the shooting.

According to the news:
"This marks the 27th time a Chicago police officer has been shot at this year and the 11th time an officer has actually been shot."

Chicago's mayor, city council, and the county prosecutor are all numb to the problem and in my opinion they are intentionally making it worse. Off my soapbox.

Despite that, hope everyone has a great day.

When it gets bad enough the vigilante groups will have to come in and restore order in their own neighborhoods..... they cannot depend on the government to save them anymore..... There just are not enough police to provide the safety of the citizens in those areas..... National guard maybe would be able to take control but for how long would you have to keep them deployed? For ever?

So sorry to hear of another brave officer being murdered....

Went to a small village car show yesterday with the new Harley..... I crushed the competition and took home a trophy..... that poor kid with the 1980 three wheeler never know what hit him.....

Matt, so sorry, for your loss. I'm sure that hits way too close to home. And Marc you are right, not anywhere near enough officers. And you can't really blame people for not going into the field, Police officers, over a large part of the country, are not appreciated and actually loathed by many....tough job to perform.

We headed over to the 'city' for grocery shopping early to beat the mess. Good to be back home after the hectic-ness. Might be a good day to just sit inside and watch my Royals get their butt kicked.

#8 IS DOING MUCH BETTER. I WAS WORRIED OVER HIS PICKUP OF LANGUAGE AND EXCESSIVE CLINGING TO MOMMY. AND I DON'T THINK I HAVE EVER SEEN HIM WITHOUT A SMILE ON HIS FACE.

OUR CHILDREN HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB WITH THE GRANDKIDS. OF COURSE THEY HAD THE ADVANTAGE OF WONDERFUL GENETICS :-)
