MADE A BIG DENT IN THE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING, GOT ALL THE FEMALES BOUGHT FOR. MONEY WILL DO FOR MOST OF THE REMAINING MALES, EXCEPT FOR #1 GRANDSON-IN-LAW; SEEMS ODD GIVING AN MD MONEY FOR CHRISTMAS :-)

AUTO ROTATION TODAY, BUMBLEBEE UP. THEY MAY COME PICK UP THE LAWNMOWER FOR SERVICING TODAY. EVERYBODY DOES THIS IN THE SPRING SO I GET AHEAD OF THE POWER CURVE.

AND IN CLOUD-CUCKOO LAND:
THE INCREDIBLE DR FOOCHY PROCLAIMS HIMSELF THE VOICE OF "SCIENCE". THE MEDIA GENUFLECTS OBEDIENTLY.

BETTER ENJOY NOVEMBER WHILE IT'S HERE!

Morning guys.... Mud 30s now headed to mid 70s. I have a bit of work in the shop.

Hoping my new CC comes today. Rosie will go to the bank to get hers replaced.

First home basketball is Friday, so it begins. One other home game before Christmas.

MIA yesterday. Sue's aunt was given a surprise 90th birthday party. It was a surprise of sorts. The celebrant had been probing her daughter for days about what they were doing for her birthday. The daughter kept her off center so she didn't know what was going to happen. About 30 people in a restaurant setting with our own room. Very nice. Great food. Afterward we shot up to the casino about 20 minutes away and picked up two $50 Amazon gift cards that we were comped. Sue went to use the bathroom and her wallet dropped out of her back pants pocket. She noticed several moments after and retraced her steps. There in the bathroom she found her wallet in the toilet minus the cash. That's actually a good outcome. Replacing all the IDs and credit cards would have been a major PITA. Sue says she lost around $236. On the slot machines, they took me to the cleaners. Can't win every time. I lost my Could have been worse. Yesterday morning I went out to the pond to encounter my nemesis. I chased off the egret and while walking barefoot back to the house I caught the edge of a stepping stone with my foot. My 205 lb body putting all that weight on small patch of skin resulted in a small tear that hurt like hell and started bleeding a little. I employed the services of my resident nurse, Sue, and she patched me up and put some antibiotic cream on the affected area. Today it hurts slightly less and I should be just fine after limping around for a few days.

Tee sorry about your card. I reckon I should check my account now. Haven’t heard of any of it around here. Sorry about Sues wallet too - any can’t people just be honest anymore and turn stuff in untouched?
I’ve not sat still last couple of days it seems like. Nursing home Thursday then gym Friday and picking up here, we tried to rest some, was out all day Saturday went to a couple flea markets in a town over then back to out town then to another town over. Then at 4:50 just ten mins before a mattress place closed we went in to look at one. We been discussing this forever and ended up getting one so that evening was a fiasco. It’s a hybrid, comes all mushed and plastic covered like a roll of carpet. We had foresight enough to set it on the bed as we feared a wampum biscuit type situation. Sure enough, last cut and bam! Thing flopped open like pulling the rip cord on an inflatable raft. Took a day to fully expand but it’s ok so far. Not too expensive.
Yesterday I started deep cleaning here room by room till around 10 last night then at 10 this morning I went with my cousin kenny and his trailer to my friends house to pick up a sofa I bought from her, we hauled my old one outside. Back to nursing home again since it’s her birthday no I’m finally home. Work starts again tomorrow. Where did my weekend go?
