Hmmm..finally got to watch it today after Tivo-ing it. It was pretty interesting. I guess the coolest thing was they should the old faithful L98 from the first Knight Rider.

The show itself was okay. The Shelby Stang looked cool as hell....I wish they would have stuck with something from GM though.

The car is cool. I thought the writing was pretty bad. But that is in keeping with the tradition. Great to see "The Hoff" in a little Cameo.

I entered to win a vehicle. Would be funny to win the Mustang and be asked what I was going to do with it.

"Oh, I'll probably sell it and buy parts for my Corvette...."

Just kidding. If I won the 'Stang I would probably keep it, and drive the hell out if it, just to piss off the collectors.

I wish they made the new Mustang in dark green metallic, like the Fastback from Bullitt. THAT would make me want one pretty badly. Love the green with Torque Thrust style wheels.

The jury is still out on whether I would watch the show again.

Yeah, some of the acting wasn't all that great too. And the whole, "I am a bad mischievious boy" thing is a little over played.

The only problem, the original car was a crossfire, it was visible in one of the episodes, where KITT wrecked, I think it was one of the KARR episodes but not sure.

The new series sucked IMO, of all cars it had to be a ford mustang

IMO most remakes are nowhere clsoe to being as good as the original. So I am glad they used a mustang the and the car can go down in flames!

I didn't know that about the Crossfire..thats interesting. I guess it shows that someone from the show didn't do their homework.

I will watch it again, butnot sure for how long. I have Tivo, and its good to have stuff stored up when I am bored.

Watched the Ford commercial, I mean movie, and was sort of dissappointed. Computerized special effects, cheesy double spoiler on the back in some scenes, and of course its a Ford. (at least it looks decent in "regular" 500KR trim) Lets face it, the first show wasn't the highest acheivment of writing, but it was more fun than this one. The stunts were much better too. A few bad model scenes and some under cranked film, but still stunt drivers out doing there thing.

CSS996: there is a Bullitt edtion Mustang coming out this year. Dark green with the correct wheels and no emblems. Saw it NAIAS, pretty cool for a Ford.

I've only seen the ads for it, and was immediately turned off cuz the new KITT voice isn't William Daniels. Just isn't the same.

Hey, thanks for the heads-up!

I found some photos online. It is neat, but not quite as cool as I thought it would be. Perhaps the photos are not doing it justice. I can think of better ways to spend $33k, and you probably won't be able to get one for that, anyway.

Maybe a used one someday. I can wait.
