I recently attended a birthday party for a friend at a local restaurant. While there I struck up a converastion with a young man of about 19 years old who shared an interest in cars, though his interests were primarily imports. We took him over to our 91. He enjoyed looking at it with us and drilled me with questions about the engine, transmission, horsepower, paint etc. Tonight I sadly learned he lost his life in an auto accident in a Lexus that his father had recently bought for him. One minute your young, vibrant and full of life. In an instant it can be gone.
My prayers go out for him and his family.

It's always sad to hear of those who die so young, when life was only beginning. May God help those close to him to find solace.

Young lives are such a loss. So much they miss. He will be missed by his family and friends.

I build on-line training and Disk-Based training for the Air Force. A recent project I have been working on is for the Military Shrinks that work in my command. It is a CD-ROM resource disk that is provided to service men and women's families regarding deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan. One section deals with when they don't come back, or if they come back with less than they left with. Its real sad because most of those guys are just babies when I see their photos. Just sad. I never really gave it much thought until I started this contract a couple years ago with the AF. It has really brought the whole thing into focus for me. Anyhow that's a whole other subject and I don't want to take away from Tommy's original post.

Peace to his family

No Don. You actually expand the point. It's sad to lose our young ones. Almost all of them. It's the personal interaction that hits so close to home.

Sometimes, senseless things are the hardest to comprehend.

Our thoughts go to the family and friends.
