SUNNY AND STICKY THIS MORNING: 82 DEGREES 78% HUMIDITY AT 0758 HRS, 93 THE PREDICTED HIGH:-( THIS IS LIKE THE OLDFASHION SUMMERS I REMEMBER, AND IT'S SUPPOSED TO GET HOTTER THIS WEEK WAS GOING TO DO SOME YARD STUFF TODAY, I'M RETHINKING THAT--- YESTERDAY WAS #7 GRANDSON'S BIRTHDAY, 14 YO. 2014 Memorial Day Car Show Winner!

Morning guys... Cool here this morning, humid but not horrible. Headed to low 80s. Going to do a bike ride this morning. Next Saturday, Leo, his mother and I are doing a relay triathlon. Molly will do the swim part (400 yards) I will then do the biking part (6miles) and Leo will do the 2 mile run. Been riding so my part won't be bad. Leo, obviously, has been running, so his part isn't bad. Molly hadn't swum any distance in 20+ years, so her part was really the questionable part. But she and Rosie went up to the pool Tuseday and she did 400 without stopping. We are NOT going into this thinking we will win, just hope to finish well.
Had an outdoor concert last night (outdoors), sponsored by the Library. An "old" band that has been together since the 60s. Really enjoyable evening. |

that sounds fun Teeb.... I could do dat if they let me have a small engine on the bike ya.....
 Heading into Speedway Motors in the morning in Lincoln to pick up new power brake booster and master cylinder kit for da 56... the old one is losing boost so car is running poorly or even dies when you are idling with the AC on and in drive.... no telling how long the old one has been on there.... newer one is nice and chrome..... yep chrome gets you home.... keep on trucken Guru's |
