Monday morning... well, almost!
And we are still here. The hurricane at this hour is almost over us. It passed with 10 miles. We got quite a lot of rain and that's it. Little or no wind, no flooding for us. Oopsie - the rain has just picked up! The deserts got much more rain, and due to their dry existence, much more flooding. They are called 'arroyos'. These are dry river beds that become messy when hit by lots of water. They have been hit much harder than we have. Oh, and to top it all off? An earthquake in Ojai! 5.1 or so, about 70 miles north of us. All in all, I suspect we got about 1.5" of rain. |

Morning guys, cool here, 67 now and headed to triple digits.
Wow Andy, didn't even know a hurricane was out there threatening. Sounds like you guys are dodging the bullet. I start on a bathroom remodel today. |

Andy had a downgraded tropical storm. Ask me. I'm an expert.  Hope some of that moisture made it over to Phoenix and Tuscon area.Hot and humid with a 100% chance of sweat. I've been picking up dead branches, weeding, trimming in the back yard. Getting ready to power up the weed whacker. I'm making progress, I think. |

101 in the shade.....one of those weeks that you best just stay in and get those things you been putting off done... it be humid also....not Florida humid but maybe Tennessee humid.... the siding guys said they had indoor work to do so they will be back after it cools down.....
Took the daughter and Granddaughter to the plane this morning where they will return to 70 degree temps..... I'm thinking we should all move up there.... but could not afford it....and its way wackdoddle politically....... I'm feeling a nap coming on with a nice fan moving the cool air around me...... hydrate Guru's |

BUSY MORNING, SWITCHED CARS EARLY IN THE OUTDOOR SAUNA. BY 0830 I WAS WRINGING WET. THEN WENT OVER TO MUSKOGEE TO SEE THE DOC ABOUT A CRIPPLE PARKING TAG. BAD ANKLE IS CAUSING KNEE PROBLEM. HAD TO WAIT, OF COURSE. CAME HOME AND TOOK A NAP. 100 DEGREES OUTSIDE. SUMMER IN OKLAHOMA :-| KEEP COOL, Y'ALL! |
