What a different world we live in today. I have intentionally lived a lifestyle that is more out of touch than modern day society. I prefer living a style more like several decades in the past. I'm comfortable there. I am happy for technological and therapy breakthroughs in medicine and the ever changing world benefitted bt science. That doesn't mean I have to adhere to social changes. In most cases I can accept "You do you." That does not mean I have to change for you. because "I've got to be me." |

very sorry to hear about the passing of samurai Sam... good friends are hard to come by...sorry for your loss.
another very clear and warm day here in the land that time forgot... rural Nebraska is not much different then it was 40 or 50 years ago... yeah more bells and whistles to keep us entertained but the values stay the same... hard work, faith, and taking care of your neighbors if they need help...because you may need help someday and they will be there for you... live well Guru's.... honor the sacrifices made by so many that allow you to do so.... |

Good morning - so sorry for your loss of your friend, yes good ones are few and far between.
I'm like Tommy too, I adjust to society but some of it I'm not conforming to. Don't care for the indoctrination and such. Be kind to each other, peace and love, live and let live. The mentality of society today to be bullies, intolerant, if you disagree you're wrong or racist or a bigot etc, opinions no longer allowed nor free speech etc. makes me think of song doo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xmckWVPRaI |
