BARN CAT COMING HOME TODAY, OVERHAUL COMPLETE. THIS FREE CAT HAS BEEN A BIT EXPENSIVE, EVEN WITH DAUGHTER-DISCOUNT.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY, TOMORROW WE GO TO OKC FOR A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR MY HIGH SCHOOL BUDDY WHO DIED AT THE END OF OCTOBER. WHY SO LONG A DELAY, QUIEN SABE?

Morning guys… made it to KC late yesterday afternoon. Stopped in Lawrence to visit GS#2 at his job. Graduated in December, had this job waiting for him, assistant golf course superintendent at a private and exclusive course in Lawrence. He had just gotten off work when we got there but he took us around and showed us the course. Beautiful golf course.

The weather was sunny but a little breeze made it chilly as we made our way around the course. This morning it’s snowing.

Not a lot planned until this evening when we will go to the high school play GD and GS are in.

I didn't rest the past two days as I should have. Stuff comes up and I do what needs to be done though resting would have been my preferred choice. Thinking of making up for my misdeeds today by limiting my movements. Just have one person stopping by this afternoon to program my new gate and garage remotes.

Cold as a witches.., nevermind. It's just cold here, rainy, wind blowing a bazillion miles an hour, low of 31 tonight, 29 tomorrow night, high won't even hit 40 tomorrow, of course, since it's my day off. When I was at work and cooped up it was a perfect 67 , calm and sunny. Had my 6 month kidney cancer scan thingie today, said all was well with that and instead of 6 more months, he put me out to a 9 month check up next time. Did note a couple other things on my scan, will follow up with PCP on that but otherwise a good visit he said. Picked up a few groceries, and ran couple other errands and came home, not much going on here. Planning to sleep in tomorrow and I guess clean something around here since it's too damned cold for me to be outside when I have a whole 4 day weekend.
