Good Morning CGs!
Working nights has been rough the last few months. Really messed up my schedule so I'm not on here too much. Did get a chance to work on the Corvette and was able to rewire everything and put it back together. Only thing left is to finish running the 8 gauge power wire for the amplifier in the trunk. I need to pull the passenger seat for that. New radio sounds way better even with the Bose speakers. Now that the weather is turning nice I can finally drive it again. Hope everyone has a great day! Got the car 99% done today. Didn't need to pull the passenger seat, I was able to slide it forward and pull the side trim off and pull the wire up. Sounds good. Subwoofer is not quite as loud as I had hoped but I'm an old man now, right?
One thing I found out is the aftermarket unit doesn't give me the option to put the antenna down even with the radio in the off position. I don't like that. Now I need to run a toggle switch to the antenna and back up to the console. Gris - did you get the electrical gremlins sorted out? |

...another trip around the sun completed...looking forward to the next one....
been doing a bunch of work to the 64 Polara..... got some new Tiger Paws on it today. The tires that were on it looked brand new but were 12 years old.... start fresh is what I always say.... got the voltage drain down to livable... now it needs aligned..... then may be ready for prime time.... gotta go ride the HD on my BD..... laugh it up Guru's |

Hey guys, been really busy.... again, or is it still?
Had a beautiful day here, but wasn't able to capitalize on it. Matt, what did you have to remove to get the radio installed in the dash like that? Happy BD Marc. |
