Good Morning Gurus!

Sorry, running a little late. Got a call from an old friend and ex co-worker, and we had to play 'catch up' for a few minutes.

Nothing much new here. Just looking forward to the end of the week. I have some fences to mend this weekend. They've been standing for about 8 years with no maintenance, and a couple sections are getting a little shaky.

What's new with you, Guru?

All work and no play is making Johnny a dull boy.........

Been too busy lately will have wait until next week to finish working on the Vette.

Until then, I feel the th GOV in Blazing Saddles.

Being retired is miserable. Nothing to do all day but look out the window and wait for the ice to melt. May be able to get the boat in the water next month.

Sounds like maybe you need a snowmobile or something!

I don't get much snow on the plains of Colorado. But if I feel the need to look at some, I can always go to the mountains. I kinda dig that.

It's great because I can drive my Vette pretty much all year round.

Not related to anything....

I drive by a used car lot every morning on my way to work. They are also a service center, and they are good guys. Very much into high-end cars, but will fix anything.

They have an interesting trio of vehicles at the corner of their lot. I want all three.

C5 Z06 in black
Audi A8 in black
Porsche 911 in silver

I just need about a hundred grand to bag all three...

I love cars.... Sometimes I really wish I didn't.

My car is in pieces - I have the water pump and opti out and have been pecking away at scraping gaskets and goo off of the engine. I haven't put this much wrench time into a car for many years, but I've found it to be fun when there's no pressure to have it done (plenty of snow to melt before it sees any road time).

It's a little late, but I still got in on the Thurs chat!

Florida has been beautiful so far! We're making our plan of attack for the track tomorrow. Support races start at 11a, and we also need to make the rounds of the vendors. I guess even before that, we need to check in at the Corvette Corral.
