I just bought some hooker 2152-1's and decided to go with 2 1/2" pipe. I want to go with true duals, and am stuck. Has anyone tried the flowmaster super 40 with 2 inlets and 2 outlets? see link below
http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/pro ... h=34_196&products_id=4027 Call me nuts, but don't like the looks of the corsa mufflers and tips... I would like to have just the angle cut pipes coming out the back. Bottom line is I would like to put some mufflers on without being able to see them. Any suggestions? |

Thats the muffler for the middle of the car, not for the rear.

That muffler won't fit. It's too wide. I went the the Magnaflow, same design. It has an internal x-pipe built in, sounds awesome. Check their web site and order from Summit. It's about $50 cheaper than the Flowmaster.

My buddy has this on his 86, with a crossover X pipe, some drone but he has a 406ci engine.
Got to be better that 2.25" exhaust tube |

Isn't the front Y 2.5"? Or does it just look that way because it's double wall?
