Good morning CGs!

How is the day going so far?

We had some pretty strong thunderstorms last night. So bad that we actually lost power for a brief moment, which is unusual because we live in a newer neighborhood with all buried electric. Strange. Luckily I had all the electronics turned off, so no worries.

Anyone have big plans for the day? Don't forget tonight is the return of CG Trivia! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it, I have other plans. It always seems to work out that way (btw, Andy, where are my stars...hmmm???)

Nothing else on the agenda today. I have to vacuum the pool a little more, but it's going well so far. About to make french toast for the wife once she's done feeding the little pooper.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning Gurus!

Severe Thunderstorms in Pueblo today. Maybe some hail. Fortunately the Vette lives inside, but I'm worried about my old Amigo. For some reason I love that little truck almost as much as the Vette.

I'm a little bummed about the Penguins losing last night. I had meant to watch, but the fam-damily wanted to watch the first Indiana Jones movie. We just bought the DVD. I had forgotten how many holes there were in that story. Still a good flick, overall. I love watching that Nazi dude's face melt off!

Ah, simple pleasures...

Just got home in time to watch the lightning show - sounds like Armageddon out there.

Ah, bad day today at work and to top it all off when I get home our AC unit is SHAKING the house so I turn it off and the fan has a huge crack in it and a piece missing. So far our first EST repair cost is 170, we are looking to go cheaper.

It never ceases to amaze me; The temerity of some to engage in outdoor activities during an electical storm. I've been caught in a few nasty storms on the ocean while fishing. Even if you don't believe in God, being caught in the grasp of a relentless storm is a good time for prayer.

Speaking of that, hurricane season is officially open.

The thunder was so strong last night it physically shook me in my bed - the whole house shook. Crazy.
