First, I did a search for this here and did not get any hits. Tried CF as well, but they talk about bulbs around the speedometer.

What I'd like to know is if there are bulbs I can change for the digital display on my speedometer, 95 version. The actual numbers/letters are not as black as I've seen in pictures of other Corvettes. Mine look dimmer. Tough to see in daylight as well.

Any ideas? Am I looking at a new speedo?

I'm guessing no one knows the answer or is it too soon?

Hang in there. Someone will get to you that has been there before. My limited experience stops at 85.

Wish I could help. The background on mine dims slightly off and on while driving - I'm thinking it's a ground or something.

if the black numbers are dim, I would suspect the display itself.

The back lighting only lights the full screen so you can see it, if the black bits are dim, that means the display is suspect.

I would contact Dr Dons and see if they have any insight.

Can the sun fade them like the digi-dashes? I know zero about the newer model dashes....

I don't think they can fade, unless electronically. If I change it out, and I'm thinking just the speedo part, then I end up with new mileage is what I'm guessing.

Does Dr. Don's have a website? He fixes radios I believe, right?

Would also like to knwo what the FSM has to say if you find anything.
