I picked up an X pipe from one of the guys that makes them over on Florida Corvettes about 3 months ago..JUST GOT AROUND TO HAVING IT INSTALLED TODAY. I had the guy remove the mufflers too. The old system was looking pretty thin in spots, so he basically did a cat back for me. It has a sweet low rumble at idle. Not too much louder than stock, but when you rev it , man does it growl. Has the coooolest little burble when it is rolling to a stop! AHHHH I'm a kid again! Yes it does drone at about 1700 through 2000. I think I will remedy that when the new gears go in though. So for now, at least it "sounds" more like a vette to me. My 17 year old called me a Poser! hahahaha

My car is a poser. Sounds tougher than it is! I am to cheap to waste money on fart cans though.

Not SS. It is a quality piece though and for $75 shipped its pretty nice. I had a local shop weld it in place for me.But between that and the elims, I've created one hell of a resonance issue. any suggestions anyone?

Lay down some heavy insulation, throw in a couple sub woofers and crank it up. Walla. No more resonance.
