Start with some stats:
Dow Jones Ind. average......Down 178 points to 11633.
Crude oil is................up $3.95 to $138.50
Gold is.....................up $32.20 to $914.50
Corn, wheat and soybeans are up a ton and the U.S. dollar looks like crap. GM is trading at a 56 year low at $11.25 and its capitalization is under H & R Block and Mattel.

Still waiting for some good news? Me too.

We are heading for a total melt down. Would anyone in their right mind actually buy GM right now?

Not sure about the total meltdown. But as for GM, they are toast. Not a matter of if they will go chapter 11, just when.
GM's management has spent more time crafting their golden parachutes then they have trying to improve the company. GM lacks vison, or stability.
