#1. Get help. You cant do a good job by yourself
#2 Get a spray bottle AND windex. Fill the spray bottle with some dish soap/water mix.
#3 Get a squeege. You can get them at every auto store. They usually come with the razor blade.
#4 Get a razor blade
#5 Scotch tape
First clean all the windows to be tinted first with the windex then with the soap solution.
Ok, now that your all set first get your tint and place a peice of scotch tape on the corner, now on the flip side add another piece of tape and pull both ends from another slightly. You will see a clear film start to be removed. Only remove it an inch or two so that you now know which side is the sticky. Now on the outside of the window, place the tint sticky side up and trim the tint with the razor, to fit the window. Leave about a 1 inch overlap so you have matterial to play with. Now once you are ready, spray the window with the solution....use alot! Now remove the film with the help of the 2nd person and slowly place the tint onto the window. Use the squeege to work form one corner and work the tint slowly onto the window while removing air with the sqeege. Trim as needed to the window but not beyond, just trim enough so you can get the air bubbles out. Repeat this until the window is covered. Over lap peices by 1/4 inch and do not trim completely until the entire window is covered. Once complete trim 1/4 inch from the edge of the glass. If you mess up you can remove the tint and start again, just add solution again. I have some pics BUT I did not have help and my work reflects this. If you have help you can get the tint damn near flawless. The biggest thing to a flawless back window is work with small peices and start at the top and work down. I found out the hard way that the tint should have went left to right instead of up and down on the back glass. Anyway I hope this is helpful

did you have a hot air gun? if not, that will help with the compound curves.

A friend of mine does tinting for a living... I have watched him work, and the heat gun is a great way to allow the tint to contour to those kinds of complex curves.

looks cool on the red, tho!

Thanks, I have heard a heat gun can work well. I am going to attempt to redo the back again. I will try a heat gun and this time I will take my own advise and have someone help me.

I had mine done professionally also. Not only that, I just went back a couple days ago and had some custom tinting done to the back glass. Don't have any pictures yet but I have limosine tint (darkest you can get) on the back glass. I had two 10 inch strips (mathing the stripes on my car)taken off the glass and a shade lighter tint replaced the dark tint. It doesn't stand out too much but it looks like the stripes come down from the roof and right through the back glass onto the rear back of the car. Hard to describe.

Hard to see in the angle this shot was taken. This was the Corvette show this past weekend at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater. Didn't think to take a good shot of the window stripes.
