...from my Suzuki GS500 that is.

Here's my new-to-me Honda Superhawk.

Resized Image

This thing sounds mean!!! I need to upload a sound clip.

The carbs are 48mm, same size as the vette TB. The pistons are the same size too.

It's a 996cc V-twin, great sound, great torque. My only complaint so far is the mirrors, I'll be needing something bigger I can see blue lights flashing behind me with.

Excellent choice!

Maybe look into bar-end mirrors. Will clean up the appearance of the bike, and not reflect your elbows.

I know the sound well. It is wonderous! I'm sure Johnny will agree!

So, were you at a Z convention, or what?

Naw, that pic is from the previous owner. I haven't got any shots of it yet.

I just got back from another quick trip. I'll find any excuse to ride it. I noticed it doesn't have helmet locks, very strange...

Your rotors are drilled right? If they crack on cars, why would you want them on a bike? Im unfamiliar with bikes so maybe there is a reason for the drilled ones?

The rotors are steel on bikes, not cast iron like your vette. I think they're drilled for weight savings. It doesn't take much rotor to stop a 400lb bike, so they can afford to drill a bunch of holes in it without it overheating. Also notice there are two rotors. Every ounce of weight savings on a 400lb bike makes a difference. On your 3,400 lb car, not so much.
