with a password and username for WIFI. I can't figure it out. Do I need to by a new router and get instructions for that router to set it up? Want to stop letting my neighbors using it. Saw them outside with a laptop and there is no other connections around. It only picks up ours.

Try the manufacturers web site, they often have user manuals available under Customer Support.

Normally...
Hook your computer to it with an ethernet cable. Open internet explorer and type in the router ip addresss to log in, usually http://192.168.0.1 or something like that. Username is usually "admin" with no password. There are different types, WPA, WEP, or another less secure way is to simply enter your computer MAC address into the router settings and lock out all others. It's way too specific though depending on mfg to post here. Sometimes there's a list in there that'll show you what computers are logged on to it. I used my neighbor's wireless connection for about a year. |

Go to Home Depot and get a lock
Put it on the router's antenna Now it's locked..... |
