Quiestion before stuffs installed. I got the flasher from ecklers. It says on the flasher*Heavy Duty, Black Wire must be grounded 12V input (x) Must be fused.

What does the fused part mean? Plus it was made in tawain. Autozones were made in china. Think this thing will last?

Oh yea, where is the flasher at? Under the dash or..

How many connectors does this flasher have? Your flasher circuit is already fused, don't worry about that. Flasher location varies depending on year of car.

It has two prongs and a black wire that has to be grounded. It says it fits years 1956-1990

oh, that's a different animal.

As for grounding, extend that black wire and bolt it to one of the main grounds.

IIRC, the flasher should be behind the DIC.

70 dollars to have the taillights/flasher installed. He said he did not want to do the foglights though. He says they will fry the wiring.

Huh? What year do you have? I installed this flasher (necessaryfor led lights) in 10 minutes in an 84. Its under passenger hush pad on side toward radio. It pulls out of a C shaped holder and just pull and replace old one. Run ground wire to any of the nearby grounding points.

What are you doing to the fog lights that he wont do!?!? Fry what wiring? The stock wiring? Perplexed!
