Anyone have the special socket for the antenna mast nut for a 95? It comes with the mast if you buy it from the dealer (according to the FSM). I got the replacement from ebay and no socket, so looking for a 'loaner'.

If you don't get this sorted, I may be of assistance in a few weeks...

I am in the process of ordering a new mast. Not sure if it will come with the socket or not. Hopefully Andy can help you out though, as he can help you faster than I can.

Take care!

Andy, that would be great. I am not in a hurry as the antenna still works, except for the last few inches. I will be glad to pay the postage both ways. I will send you a PM with my address.

Partsladi sells the complete kit with the socket, but it is about $15 higher than I paid.

That seems to be a common problem with an aging antenna.Resized Image

OK, does anybody else need a socket? ToptechX6 on the c-forum sent me one, I did mine (10 minute job) and then sent it on to a CF member in Arizona. If anybody else needs it next let me know soon and I will get it sent to you. FREE, other than the postage to send it on to the next person or back to me.

If you need to replace the mast you can save about $15 by ordering just the mast without the socket.
