I'm trying to make a movie of my latest autox and I can't get Windows Movie Maker to save the file.

I don't think it's a FAT32 issue.

I've done everything the same as I did last time.

As a matter of fact I've openned up old projects and they want save either.

Was there a recent update to Windows Movie Maker?

Thanks

not that I know of... but it would not be the first time a security patch really fixed some things...

yuck. At least saving it as an AVI, can you then reopen it and save it as a WAV or whatever?

I checked my Windows updates.

It seems that some haven't gone through....

Looks like you need to manually enable your firewall to let them through.

I just finished downloading SP3, and I'll see what happens after I do and update.

hm... why would a firewall care about MS updates? Odd.

I haven't used it recently, but never had issues.

Does it run through and encode the file and then just quit?

I figured it out.

Seems my spyware was blocking the installation of ServicePack 3 for XP.

I had to put my computer into safe mode to get it to install.

After it was finished I could save my work.

Here's the video.

I took someone new to autoxing out for some instruction.
