My co-worker, Bob, has an older Catalina Sail Boat. There are some pretty gnarly nuts/bolts in that poor thing... 30 odd years of salt water have taken their toll.

The latest has been the head. Removing meant getting out several bolts that have been getting progressively harder and harder to remove. The heads keep pealing right off!

The latest insult was a tap that got stuck and broke off. Now what?

This guy, www.extractit.com.

He is based in my area of SoCal. $45 to come out and remove anything without damaging threads.

I will report Bob's experience. This seems like a great thing if it's done right.

I gotta get some new glasses. I thought it said extratit.com.
$45 would be a bargain if all goes well.

Hell yeah, there's been a few dozen times I would've paid for that service.

Like this particular time I was with this one chick...

I will do more research.
