Do I have to drop the exhaust, and x member to remove the driveshaft. I need new U joints, thanks Jim.

yes. You also will have to loosen the c-beam. I don't think there is enough room to drop the shaft with the beam in place.

You can modify underneath to remove the drive shaft with out touching the C-beam.

I've worked on some C4s that did and some that don't.
Mine doesn't. There must be variations in how big the sheetmetal edges are under there. I assuming that's what Jeffvette is talking about trimmin down. |
