Since I work in a steel mill, driving the C4 everyday is asking for trouble, so I try to drive my work beater in as much as possible....nice days the Vette goes in regardless, lol.

It's a debadged, dechromed, 97 extened cab short bed Chevy C1500 Silverado. It's loaded, and has some mods...Dynomax Super Turbo "dual" exhaust, K&N FIPK "cold air" filter kit, Viper remote start, Lund soft tonneau cover, and the truck has been lowered 2" in front using lowering spindles, and 4" in rear using loweering shackle and spring hanger kit....

One of my mates here in Australia had a 1990 ruby red Silverado, short bed-step side, single cab with bench seat. Was an awesome ute to drive, i loved it.

Thanks. I say "beater" because it's had a pretty hard life. It pulled a travel trailer back & forth from Maryland to Michigan (and beyond) for 120,000 of it's 148,000 miles and even though I'd say it's retired, it still gets loaded up with debris for dump runs every now and then.

I did some careful measuring and found out that my newly stripped and polished stock turbine rims will fit with 1.25" adapters, so I will probably be adding them soon. I forgot to mention, truck also has a steel rollpan that I painted and swapped on when the truck & bumper were hit & run on a Home Depot lot.

My Silverado, daily driver. Yes, I don't drive the Vette every day.

Rolla-mo, I LOVE your truck!!! That looks so good, white, clean with just a little something to break it up.
Have a black 02 Silvy EC that is the DD . Wanted a standard cab but couldnt get one with the standard cab, 5.3 and 3.73.
One day it will have a mild 6.something in it .

Thanks!
Even though it's a daily driver, I did the car show thing with it until I got the Vette. Did 4 Power Tours with it also, so it's got close to 100K miles now. Here's a couple more pics.

And one at Daytona Beach. 2005 Power tour ended in Orlando, FL, so I had to run over and get a pic of the truck on the beach.
