Matt I noticed your response in another thread that you live at I-55 & Weber. I didn't want to hijack that thread so I started this one. You live near what has to be the world's worst intersection! I'm in Streator and I absolutely hate going through there around 3:30-6:00 pm. I avoid being there during that time, how do you cope with it?

Yeah, I-55 and Weber does suck big time. Regardless if you are on the highway or Weber itself. I hate Weber Rd. There is no "proper" cloverleaf to get on and off the freeway so it is constantly backed up. I actually get off two exits before (Joliet Rd) and take that home because I live in between Weber and 53. When I worked mids it was no problem, but now that I'm on days it's crappy. Back roads are the way to go. At least they finished the road construction south of Weber on the freeway. If you ever need a route around things lemme know

I used to traverse from the west suburbs to I55 and then south.... at that time the 355 toll road did not exist and it was just 53 or 83 you could take, and then when you got to I55, you were rewarded with Highway construction that went all the way south of Joliet...... pain in the ass !! But as bad as you guys have it, its still no where as near as bad as traversing from Newport Beach, OC California to up north of the grapevine via the 405..... thats traffic on another level....:angry1:
