Does anyone make a larger than stock gas tank for a C3? If not has anyone attempted to fabricate one?

1974 was 20 gallon. I'm unsure about years after that.

There are several tanks advertised as being extra capacity, that people have bought, only to find out they hold the same as stock. I recall one guy battling for his money back when he couldn't fit more gas in even after it was advertised as being able to hold more fuel.

Isn't that big enough? Seems like that would get some decent range. I don't know if you could shoehorn something larger in there?

It really depends on the HP you got and your fuel mileage with that HP. If someone could get another 5 gallons or so that would be a benefit.

Well that's true of anything. But that's the cost/benefit you trade off. I don't know too many guys that take their 500 hp 13:1 compression motors on 400 mile trips.
