It's our members. I know, sounds trite. The idea here is simple: we help each other.

What else makes us special? Our Tech Library.

We all do projects. What I ask is that when you do a project, document it! Take a few pictures as you go and then send the pics and some text to me for final composition (it's how I keep my title :thumbright: ).

Once done, the documents become Tech Tips that everyone on the site can access and share.

So whenever you have a tech question, check the C4 Guru Tech Library, first! You never know, it might have been covered! If you haven't checked it before, take a moment, scan it and become familiar with what it offers and what it has.

Also, when you see an error, please share!

Thanks,

Andy Bogus

Awsome, anytime I do a project I will be sure to have the digi cam right there so I can share how to do it with everyone! I might have a cam swap coming in my future

the library is going to get a new look. I love the graphical way, but I am going to add a "master list view" option. That will speed up the selecting process.

Andy, you know I have done several projects on my 94. I always start out with great intentions of documenting the process, but somewhere in the middle of the actual doing it, I forget to take those pictures because I am so focussed on getting it done. I'll try to do better with this as I continue work on the white beast.

I do want to say that I really appreciate those that have written tech articles.

TeeBee - I feel your pain.

I have been forced into finishing projects, versus documenting them.

To do these, you really need a helper to take the pictures. The text will write itself, really.

Just as soon as I get past tire pressure checking and dip stick reading I'll certainly consider what you have suggested. I'm still learning a lot about the tools. I think somebody sold me a set of left handed wrenches.

There's nothing wrong with your wrenches, they are for the left hand side of the car. You need to get a right hand set for the other side.

I was going to say that the wrenches you had were for the drivers side....but Case would have argued with me about that!

Only one more day of school this (calendar) year! Merry Christmas to all you out there.

I've been on CF the last couple days, and I can second the fact that this group is the difference! A lot of whining going on over there. Some of it with good reason, I suppose.

I wonder if any forum that size will fall victim to some of the problems they face. There is something that can be done to prevent the commercialism, but with the sheer numbers of people posting, you're bound to have more bad eggs.

I'd love to see this forum grow, but I won't mind I'd it doesn't get quite that big!

Have a look here TeeBee and tell me what you think of my ambi-dexterous set mate:

Thats just the metric set, there is also an imperial set just like it, and 2 sets of double open enders, metric and imperial.
