Ok I am doing something I swore off forever...posting on a car forum. Getting rid of all my car stuff and had a question.
Got an Ebay account last night and started listing stuff. Got a paypal account outside of Ebay (paypal.com) When I get a buyer how do I send them info to pay? I dont have an account # as far as I know, just signed up for it. Is there a link that pops up somewhere in your email>? Sorry, Im new to this and dont know my way around it, dont want to get scammed. Should feel good to get my space back and get rid of all this stuff though. Thanks for letting me use you now go suck an egg |

Knew you couldn't stay away
I've used PayPal, I just get an email notification when a bill is due. Not sure how eBay links in. |

Paypal account number is usually your email unless you picked something different.
Ebay is halfway integrated with Paypal, if you post an auction with Paypal as a payment choice, it should ask you for your paypal ID. When someone wins an auction, it will give them the option of paying you with paypal, and automatically point them to your account. Or you can accept canadian pennies or ostrich feathers or whatever form of payment you like. |

What Kevin said. It's easy. Ebay does most of it automatically. If you sell something to a guy not on ebay, just get his email address and send him an invoice through paypal to that address. He'll pay you and you will have a credit on your paypal account. You can use it to buy stuff or transfer it to a bank account or whatever.

Don't forget that Paypal and ebay will grab a piece of your action, Ebay will charge you a finale value fee and paypal grabs a percentage
