Getting my camera tomorrow! Cleaning house today (putting all my tools away). That right there will be a all day job..lol! Hopefully I will get my rotating light before the party so my new arcade will 100% working.
The new camera is a Nikon P90, we picked it up new off of ebay for 340 shipped. Thats 60 bucks cheaper than any store!

Hey Teebee, Abq is only about 4 hours from me, I think. I'm going to the dark side too, as soon as I can afford it. Next summer at the latest, hopefully.

See you there, I hope!
I think its alot of work = to fun for me. This should be interesting to see how things work out with that large of a group. I might have to assign a team of grillers so I am not stuck on it.

Well I am paying for the work I have been doing. Woke up and my back is killing me. Got all the floor kick moldings up for the living room and bathroom (pics to follow some time today). Getting ready for my big bash this saturday which anyone is invited from here...just RSVP. Should be the biggest party I have ever thrown...about 60+ people.

Going to lay the floor in the living room today and tomorrow put the bathroom door on. Depending on how things go I will put trim down this week as well. Hoping to be done with the floor before the kids get out of school.

Well today is good so far. Had to turn in the van to the dealership yesterday as the AC went out (van is only 5 months old) so it went in and they recharged it and added dye. Not 20 mins latter it was out again so they took it and gave us a free rental. Hopefully it will be done today as I have to go get some new wood flooring for the living room and a door for the bathroom. Joy, joy, joy.

Morning! We made it back down to GA last night around 830PM. Took us about 11 hours with stops. I am beat but I came back to a tall yard so I am mowing and came in for a quick break. Well, that was quick, back to mowing.

To me this thread is sickening. Look at the stuff he is trying to do with weapons...he is trying to basically BAN owning a gun. Sure he is beating around the bush to do it but is all the same. Look at the budget, the guy dont have a clue about it. Making us go further in debt to help us "grow". His plan is clearly thrown together and there is no way that increasing spending is going help our nation. My biggest concern with that is we took a tax cut but we are spending MORE...ALOT MORE! This dont throw any red flags to anyone else but me? Sure there are tons more issues out there than this but these are the most recent that I dont like.
I think that people are using the race card to discribe why people dont like obama. I dont think there is a race issue, not like what your talking about. What do you base this off of anyway? News...yeah thats a joke.

GOLLY what a week thus far. I will have to start a new thread on it...VERY BAD STUFF. No one hurt or anything like that just bad as in taking my vacation time due to someones F up. Hopefully all will be well by Monday but working on it right now to get it done. So far I have put 26 hours into this and 12 more likely tomorrow. GRRRRR, screwing with my personal life is NOT cool. I will try to write about it soon but only when I have time which might be Wednesday. MTF

Well, finally got my clearing papers today with only 2 days to clear where normally 7 days are granted. Bastards knew I was going soon and I turned in my stuff well in advance for them to have it ready plus I bugged them every day for the last week. I did 3/5 of the work today so that leaves 2/5 for tomorrow, should be fairly easy....I hope. Worst case is I run into 1 day of leave to finish clearing.

Harbor Freight sells a set of security bits for around 6$. Just depends on how much you're going to use them, for me it's not very often so the price was good.

With that said, good morning to all the other guys.

Have a good day

Finally got my living room painted and my bathroom 90% done. I just have to get the closet ceiling in the bathroom textured, the door installed, the base boards and crown moldings and I will be done! The only thing I am going to do before I deploy is install the door. Everything else can wait though I might install the base boards since I have them. Pics to come soon!!
The living room will be getting a new floating floor upon my return from my vacation and base boards. The windows may or may not get trim around them, I dunno yet. I dont want to have too many projects during my vacation time.
Arcade is coming along. I still need a security bit set (should get one today) then I can take apart the rotating light and replace the bulb. Still got to get the stator for the marquee so it can light up, got a new bulb already for it. After that this thing should work like new, only thing I want to do after this is install new T moldings.

I thought I was crazy thinking someone stole my benchgrinder after a kegger party at my last place. But I wasn't wrong, I found it in the bushes in the front of the property a day later. Somebody decided at the last second to toss it rather than hang on to it.
At worst I think they accidently took it. Either that or its in the black hole some where still in the dark corners of my house.

I am pretty much the say way about knowing when one is missing. Even if it is missing I usually know where it was last seen. I also usually stop work until I find that missing tool too (call me crazy). I search for 1 full hour till I gave up the search.

Got my arcade together and apart. Had to take out a rotating light (siren light) cause the bulb is blown. Going to fix that as soon as I get a security bit set...what happened to mine? Good question, it WAS here before the drywall guys came over and now its not here. HMMMMM....I wonder what happened to it. We are calling their boss tomorrow but I am not ready to accuse them of theft yet, just because I lose stuff too often. This is not something that is easily misplaced. Big red case the size of a large external hard drive. Not in any of my usual or unusual places. Searched upstairs, my sheds, all rooms in the house to find nothing. Anyway, lowes dont carry them so I will have to search tomorrow.

Mine were bad enough I got new ones and then got some of the clear film, (cleartastic by 3M) off ebay so I wouldn't have to worry about them again.
I bet you could have saved them. Just requires some elbow grease. I have seen some pretty bad ones come back to life.

Its not dirt, its like an oxidation thing. Same thing happens to tail lights, head lights and marker lights too.

So I get a 4X8 enclosed trailer from U-suck and get up there around 1120 and we take the arcade apart to as small as it can go which is still pretty big. We then try to fit it into the crappy U-suck trailer only to find out the darn back door is not big enough! So we call the local place I got it from and they say tuff chit you have to bring it back to get a 5X8. I just drove 2 1/2 hours and I aint doing it again so we went to the arcade guys buddies shop who just so happens to be a U-suck dealer and he hooked me up with a 5X8 for which I am extremely grateful. Got back to the guys house, loaded up and I was on my way back. The entire thing took way too long! I left at 8am and just got back at 5pm! 9 hours for a should have been 6 hour trip. Could have been worse I guess. Just glad its over, now I have to hook it all up again. That will most likely take about an hour or so, alot of stuff to put back on.

Ok, weather report changed again, 4th time since I checked last night. How do these guys keep their jobs? Is it standard to be wrong all the time? Anyway, looks like a green light to pick up tomorrow morning round 8 am. Means I have to wake up at 5 am and hit the road. On a good note I will have it for tomorrow. Might BBQ for dinner depending on weather which will change 3 times (forcast).
