Woke up before his alarm went off and never went back to sleep. I'll get the trash int eh house gathered up and outside and rolled to the curb and maybe some laundry done and that will probably be it for me today.

Good afternoon, storms here again but the sun is out now like nothing ever happened. Storms returning at 4pm however. We were up at 4am tying up umbrellas, windchimes and stuff that got blew over. I was out doing it again when I woke back up. Zero energy today although I had planned to deep clean the house. Maybe later. I got all night, I'm off tomorrow. I guess this is one huge storm, down at PCB and Pensacola they're tore up with a tornado, there's been some damage in areas around us, and then as far as Ohio, a friend of mine works for the city up there and he's having to pull a weekender today with all their crews out doing cleanup. Same here, re-tired. Not sleeping for some reason all of a sudden. It's catching up to me. Drove to work in a monsoon today, then now it looks like none of it ever happened. Lightning did hit a huge pole downtown you could see it for a ways. The PD shared a street cam of it. One dude on the corner just stood there and then calmly walked off. Like I'd have jumped 10 feet and ran like all get out.
Working with a designer from Canada today for a local van. It's a gaming outfit that puts machines in places, this is the kids' first car wrap . I told him he'd already done better than most. He's revising and resending and I'll see what I get back and hopefully can start printing.
Matt, on above ground, sidewall repair should be fairly easy, is yours aluminum? if so just use body panel adhesive to attach a patch to the inside using rounded corners and tape over the edges. If you have a newspaper printing place there, they often will pull aluminum press plates and discard to send for recycle. They'll usually give those to you if you ask. Putting a liner in one of those isn't hard, but you need a ton of clamps and you'll be babysitting it until it's about a foot deep. Let center barely touch bottom then start filling and then slowly feed liner in as it takes on water to assure smooth at lower edges inside.

Matt, this is what pool companies call 'opening season' and they get very backed up on repair ends. With repairs and installs prob gonna be a 2 month wait depending on the company you are using and how large they are. I wouldn't try repairs myself unless you've done that before. And, not sure the size of pool you have but liners are a huge PITA. Do you have inground or above ground?

Good afternoon, rained here while we were gone, we ended up about an hour from home getting caught in it, was hoping to get home before it all hit but we ended up (squirrel) taking some side stops along the way home that put us a bit behind and off our path some. We had a good trip, but are worn out and ready to be home resting. We did see a lot of stuff we'd like to go back that way and do that we missed this time, but will take the Rover next go around. Tennessee and Kentucky aren't very responsible with their road budget and it's a wonder I still have a front end and all four tires after some of that crap. The plant tour has changed some and the body shop area is huuuuuge now. They do automated wet sanding, not by hand and of course, wouldn't let you see that part. And at the end, you get over by the rain booth and it's like , well, thanks for coming on the tour see ya sort of thing. A bit of an anticlimactic end really.
This is also my first long car ride since surgery. Day after we got there my tummy was a bit store and I have a place or two that bothers me but I expected that. And my first flights of stairs climbed and longest I'd been on my feet at one time as well since surgery. I feel like I did well and didn't get near as tired as I expected I would. I figure that means I'm closer to being 'normal' again. The more moving around I do each day the better I think I'm feeling.

Got home and did 4 loads of clothes, washed dishes, made supper and even got my nails done. worn out when I went to bed. Up early for dental exam this morning before work. have to go back to nail place, lady messed up something and all the topcoat cracked and is peeling. Good thing she dont work on cars.

I dropped BOA years ago. Fees fees and more fees for nothing. And if you do not bank there and cash a check by someone who DOES bank there they want to charge a fee for that. I swear I posted Friday but went back and didn't see it. I got out for groceries and such and got back home around 5, ate a little then slept till 9:30, got up went to bed slept till 8:30 the next day. I'll be glad when this tired mess is over with. I feel pretty normal but that stuff is holding me back. Dentist first thing in the morning, just a cleaning but I sure do hate to go.
This Thursday we'll be leaving with some others in the Vette club to go to Blowling Green to the plant/museum. Will be a busy day Friday, drive home Saturday. Good morning. Had a great weekend, finally got out of the house to do some stuff. It wore me out and I hardly moved yesterday. We hit that 100 mile yard sale Saturday, made it to almost Jackson MO and was hungry, googled a nearby BBQ joint and ended up in Cape Girardeau MO, then cheesecake place across street, then coming home through Sikeston Arron remembers a workmate was drag racing. Looked that up and we were right there almost so went there, had an hour left, lady let us in free. Sat in the pool Sunday then wanted a burger and hopped on the Harley for a nice drive bout an hour away to a popular burger place, then sat by a nearby lake and came home. We just sat in the pool yesterday and did nothing. Tonight, since it's Taco Tuesday we're hitting the local authentic mexican place for my double-nickel birthday dinner and a giant drink for me. Feels like we been celebrating all weekend. Do I get senior discounts now??

Got home last night and our New Mexico friends showed up around 9:30. GPS I think was set to 'main roads only' so it was an extra hour for them getting here. Then when they got here, found out there was large hail, high winds and tornadoes in their area. (Clovis). they were glad to be away but I was worried for their property and his 68 vette sitting at home. They're headed to Nashville to see their daughter an our house is a good stopping spot, always glad to see them. Wished they lived closer. He's a member here but he forgot his password long ago lol.

Wants graphics on 3 new vans, but can't afford graphics, I put him together a basic cheap van package. Then he wants them tinted. We'd not seen em yet so Josh quotes him based off what the guy told him. Short transit. Turns out he has the long transits, two extra windows. Then he was mad cause the price went up. Then he wanted it done "today". We're 2 weeks out on tint and it's by appointment, we're full. That made him mad. Well, plan better then I don't know what to tell you. Then he pulls his "i hate to go somewhere else" line, like that's gonna help. sorry, not cancelling other's pre-booked appointments for him and do a disservice to other clients who can plan better. I also have a van for a new casino gambling machine company. He had one hooked up in the van he let me see working, that was pretty groovy. They will be at rest stops and places in Mississippi. I want one at home.

Good morning, beautiful day here again. I wish I was at the beach, this normally is about the time we try to go but with my mess it was a nope. And wouldnt you know, perfect water, green flags, clear as a pool and all the wildlife everywhere, rays, baby hammerheads, mannatees, you name it. It's not been this nice in years and I had to miss it.
Oh well, I tried to sit outside yesterday and have my legs in the water, beats nothing.
THEN, I get a call this morning, I can swim, take long car rides long as I get out and walk every couple hours, go back to gym and lift as I can tolerate with caution, and pretty much start getting back to normal. I can sunbathe or sunbed on tummy when glue all falls off. I'll be 3 weeks out tomorrow. I think I'm doing good so far, but still get tired easy. Tee, hope yours is better also.

Good morning yall. Sunny out today. I'm supposed to go to a movie matinee with a couple gals. I overdid crap friday so was out yesterday. Today I might just sit around here. Plus they're going to see some book club movie. And Guardians of the Galaxy is on. WHY would you pass that up for some low rate book club movie?
Marcus we did the mulch before my surgery. I would like to buy in bulk but that's twice the work to get it where I need it. Bags are way easier for me for out back. Out front yeah, they could dump it in the truck but he always has it full of crap, I have no trailer. Bags I can pick up and carry to where I need them. Out back I have a regular gate that I can't drive back here, too small. Need to clean house and pull weeds, might just sunbathe all day.

Good evening, been a really nice day here today had some rain overnight. I was able to drive finally to took off at it running my errands yesterday. I overdid it. I’ve felt like absolute steamed sh*t today. Beyond exhausted and slept a lot. And have had no appetite but have today: I guess body needs energy. Was told this would happen and I’d be easily tired for a while. I was also told to start with to eat more good stuff to help body heal, I know I haven’t. I guess it put me in check . Pool is 83, not allowed in it and I can’t stand it.

No pool for another week or two, wasn't happy bout that. I still get lightheaded and tired easy but she said in about a month I should be back to normal. Whatever normal is lol.
Sunny and hot today but since I can now drive I might get out later and get a few groceries and just be free for a while and not sit in the house.

They have a 40K trailer but were caught off guard at the wrap price and asked for payments. seriously? You can afford that but not the wrap? They downsized their wrap to fit their budget and she started blowing my phone up while I was still in the shower. That's why I don't give my cell out to folks. They abuse it. She'd already bothered the owner for the last hour, and he worked late last night and has family at home visiting. I guess he'll be mad when he gets here.
I go to the kidney doc this afternoon for my 2 week post op checkup. Maybe he'll let me drive. Having to be shuffled around is getting on my nerves. fingers crossed

Had a pickup come in yesterday for a wrap, mattress selling dude I've done work for before. Got him measured with help from an installer, got him proofed right at the end of the day. I'm here early because Arron has to drive me, and have already got him a revise sent. He should print today if he doesn't have any more changes. Didn't sleep well so hoping for a slower day today.
Gris I don't get those "kindergarten" graduations either, or "sixth grade graduation". I mean it's moving from one to the next? Makes no sense to me but it's a dandy good way for those cap and gown people to make money. I don't recall anything spectacular or different moving from 6th to 7th grade lol except teachers seemed meaner lol.

Today was my 'work for extra cash' day but when I left yesterday I wasn't' feeling great. I work at a computer and might get up to measure something so was cleared to go back when I wanted. But, I also stopped pain meds the evening of day 7. Today is day nine. Last night I was cold, didn't eat much of my supper, didn't sleep good, was trembly and kinda the same today. didn't even want water. Made a bbq bowl and ended up tossing it. I'm guessing the meds and anesthesia are getting out of my system and that's what all this is? I don't take stuff like that so body wasn't used to it.

We have been getting rain the last day or two, started the other night, then cleared then started again late that night. Had put grass seeds out a few days ago so hoping it helps. I do see some weird weeds, and I have dadgum WHEAT in my yard. WTF. I ride to work today with Arron and what do I see in the fields by the house? Wheat. Figures. Whatever that dude plans I end up with in my yard and flowerbeds.
Gris, I'm better by the day but not sleeping good hampers me a bit. I am at work today, since I have a desk job doc said I should be fine. I'd rather be home a few more days since sleeping is off still. But at some point I'd rather be on a regular schedule. I do have a trailer coming for measurements and have someone ready to help if I need it for lower stuff. The rest, since I'm not bending a bunch I should be able to handle.

I hate weeds. and I've used Preen and other things. My lawn guy gave me something called "over the top" but I'm afraid to use it. allegedly kills weeds but not my flowers and I can use it in the flowerbeds. I'm not where I can be pulling on junk right now weeds included so I'll have to pay the nephew or someone to do it for me. I'm stuck at home and walking around here seeing all the crap I need to do but can't. Being unable to drive and go anywhere is a drag too but days like today I just soon stay home anyhow.
Getting better by the day I feel like. Today is a week post op. Sometime during the night some of the swelling in my abdomen went down. I woke up and could literally feel it. Weird. Hope it stays that way, it's been driving me nuts. Incisions are still very tender to the touch and I have sharp pains in my right side I can't explain. Maybe they can. I got back the 18th.

Good morning, kinda overcast here today, stormed unexpectedly last night, keeps us from having to water stuff. I think disaster was in the water for everyone yesterday it surely was a long screwed up Monday. Arron tried to take bike to work and it quit on him, got it going and came home to get the truck. then fixed a truck for customer, took it for test drive and it started pouring oil, not anything to do with what he was working on. So new repair for that one too, delaying him on the next one who has a new vette and wanted to be a 'waiter". He said eff it, he came home for lunch. I don't understand ppl who want to 'wait' especially on a lunch hour. Those guys are busy on scheduled jobs and they need a break too. Entitled minded I guess. and all day here anything I touched hit the floor, and I really can't pick stuff up just yet. Then, opened my cabinet door to find a shit load of ants in there. WtF. also needed him home to help me with stuff and one dude insisting on a key fob repair, knowing our situation kept arron from getting here till 8 then I was mad. I need his help here I don't care about someone's stupid key fob. And arron should've told him no but he tries to take care of folks. Sorry but this is one time he needs to learn to say no. Hoping for a better smoother day today.

Beautiful and sunny here, was downright hawt yesterday too miserable to be out.
Gris, I'm better today. Yesterday wasn't a good day, today is a 180 from that. I've been up and around, did some light picking up around here just to be moving some. Getting in and out of bed was easier so might try my own bed tonight. It's a bit taller and more difficult for me but I don't sleep well on the spare. I am due back May 18 for follow up and he'll see how I'm healing and whether or not I can drive. have had some friends bring some food over, aunt is supposed to be on her way with some and some of the vette club ladies are coming by tomorrow evening. Every little bit helps. I've been sitting outside bird watching. Wish I could get in the pool. Nothing like it being sunny and summer with an open pool and all I can do is stare at it lol. I did get my legs wet on the steps but was very careful about getting there. Doc said "movement as tolerated" so I'm kinda testing the waters no pun intended. I'm just happy to be above ground and able to wipe my own hiney and have 2-ply toilet paper and sleep through the night without someone wanting my vitals or blood. It's the small things ::::::

Didn't get much done Saturday, and yesterday we finished getting the rest of the mulch out, and me and my nephew cleaned out the pool house top to bottom. So nice to have that space back sort of. Still need to do some stuff out there but it's way better. Aggravated my allergies though. And I'm sore today.
Will work today, then go get my claws sharpened, then go home, make a bit pot of soup and do some laundry. Working half day tomorrow then will go home, pack my back and set outside, maybe paint my toenails or something lazy and rest. Hitting the rack about 7:30 if I have to be there at 5am

Good morning, overcast here but rain has moved out. We didn't get a whole lot, but we didn't need it, either. I'd like to see a nice light soaker every other day here over the next couple weeks, just had the yard overseeded. The ice we had that hung around seemed to kill part of it off. Not the weed though, never those of course. Matt, hope the tire cost don't hit you too bad, I will be needing winter Rover tires and I dread that. NONE of those are cheap. These that are on there now have some weird foam lining or something they call noise reduction. Never seen that before.
Tommy if I was there I'd take over for Sue, then I could play with plants and get paid for it .

Good afternoon, drizzling rain here from early morning then off and on all day. Not sure how much we'll get but it'll start up again around 6pm. Been a slow day at work today , not complaining. At this point in the week, it's too late really for me to start anything large as I won't be able to get done with it before I leave. I'll be here tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday morning and that's it. Still have a lot to get done at home prior. One thing at a time, always forward yall.

I hate to ask him to give up what little vaca he has at the day job to babysit me. He will be home in the evenings. I know he stays busy but he's had kidney cancer and lost a kidney too so he gets it. I have a cousin that's an lpn i'd like her to come stay during the days. if somethin goes haywire she'd know what to do. she gonna have to leave them cigs at home tho

overcast here, sunny off and on. Rain due in tomorrow. I'll need it, am getting some overseeing this afternoon. my lawn guy said the ice we had set long enough that it appears to have killed off the bermuda a lot. I got the seed he asked for and he's spreading it at no charge. Plus some of the neighbor's weeds are in my lawn now. Got my preadmissions testing this morning, countdown is on. I'm starting to worry about stuff that needs done at home and such prior. My big worry is when I get back home. Arron will be at work and I'll be fending for myself.

Good morning Gris, gloomy here too. We're having blackberry winter around here. I'm ready to start complaining about how hot it is outside. Rain due possibly tonight and also the next couple days. I had planned to water all the plants with my peroxide/epsom salt mix tonight but if it's gonna rain, I'll hold off. I need to do that this weekend at least, and spray for pests on shrubs, house perimeter too. I also need to put the rest of the mulch out and deep clean the pool house and tidy up , dust and such before surgery. I won't be able to after. Supposed to have a 15-passenger van in here today, kinda hoping it don't show. I have this week to get done with whatever is on my desk and so far I'm caught up. I really don't want to start something big and not be able to get it print ready before I leave and make someone mad.
